Outreach to individuals, organizations and companies for funds to help us purchase marketing materials such as flyers, yard signs, advertisements, etc.

OUTREACH CAPTAINS
Recruit other volunteers and organize information sessions in your own neighborhood, make sure neighbors are registered to vote and lobby for them to vote in favor of the referendum.

CHURCHES
MAKING CONNECTIONS
Contact church leadership and lobby for support. Schedule opportunities for a representative to speak to the congregation.

POLL WORKERS
ELECTION DAY LOBBYING
Volunteer to stand at polling locations throughout Floyd County during early voting days and on election day in support of the Safety Referendum.
ENDORSEMENTS
SUPPORT FROM LEADERS
Contact community and business leaders, and elected officials to seek endorsements, collect statements to prepare for us in marketing and public relations efforts.

ADMINISTRATIVE
ASSISTANCE
Enter data, record feedback gained during canvasing efforts, enter volunteer information, take notes during work sessions, maintain PAC calendar and assist with all communications.

COMFORT CAPTAINS
FUEL WORKERS
Provide food and refreshments for meetings, community events and deliver lunch to poll workers at voting centers.

COMMUNITY EVENTS
ORGANIZE OUTREACH
Organize a calendar or community and school events were a show of support is beneficial. Recruit members to staff tables or wear shirts in support of the referendum.

VOTER CONTACT
Utilize lists to make positive contacts with voters throughout the county and provide them with referendum information. Whether door knocking, phone banking, or absentee voter chasing, get the word out on the benefits of the Safety Referendum.
